The Opportunity  

As our first dedicated Marketing Lead, you will own the entire marketing funnel, from brand awareness and education to user acquisition and retention. You will be instrumental in introducing Stryde to the world, figuring out how to present private markets to the new users, and building a community of engaged investors. You will have the chance to build the narrative from the ground up. Your strategy will define how our users see investing in sports and entertainment, and it will have a direct impact on changing the global sports investment landscape.

We're looking for a hands-on expert who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll have the autonomy to experiment as you work towards defining the marketing strategy. This is a foundational role with a clear pathway to building out a team and growing into a senior leadership position as the company scales.
 

What You'll Do:

  • Define, implement, and iterate on multi-channel marketing strategies focused on user acquisition.
  • Design, launch, manage, and optimize performance marketing campaigns. Manage the associated budgets effectively.
  • Oversee the development and execution of a content calendar across various channels (social media, email marketing, blog, potentially webinars/podcasts). You will guide content marketers/freelancers to create compelling narratives that educate and excite our target audiences.
  • Establish KPIs for all marketing activities. Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, user behaviour, and funnel metrics, using data to inform decisions and optimize results.
  • Play a key role in shaping Stryde's brand voice and messaging. Work towards generating buzz around private market access.
  • Ensure that all marketing campaigns and initiatives are fully compliant with the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) regulations by working closely with our compliance team


Who You Are (Requirements):

  • You have 5+ years of marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving measurable growth.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience marketing within the financial services or fintech space. You understand the different aspects of marketing financial products.
  • You're genuinely excited about the potential of Stryde. You should be passionate about investments or sports, ideally both.
  • You have hands-on experience in performance campaigns, especially on Meta platforms. Google and Snapchat experience is a strong plus.
  • You are highly analytical, comfortable setting KPIs, digging into data, and using insights to drive marketing decisions.
  • You possess a strong sense of ownership and initiative. You're excited by the prospect of building something from the ground up. Startup experience is a plus.
  • You can articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
